Hi, I’m Maddy - the eyes & heart behind Perrault Atelier in Houston! I’ve always been drawn to storytelling through images, and that passion first took shape when I studied film at LSU in 2012. After years of working in the Texas real estate — guiding people through big, emotional moments — I felt the pull back to my creative roots. Photography has always been my way of preserving light, love & legacy.

Today, I photograph weddings, portraits, and public events with an emphasis on storytelling & emotion. Whether it’s the joyous embrace of your partner, laughter with friends, or the quiet in-between moments, I want my clients to have images that feel alive & true.

I’m originally from Baton Rouge, LA, but I love to travel wherever your story takes me. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me in the kitchen making my grandmother’s apple pie or pizza from scratch using ingredients from my garden with my husband and our three cats (Nyx, Drew & Goose). On occasion, we’ll have fosters running the household as well, so patience and playfulness come naturally.
